Touring Productions for Students
For upper elementary and middle school girls, Mean Girls examines the issues of the girl bully, cliques and the price of popularity.
For middle and high school students, Word takes on an incident of bullying and examines it from three different perspectives-the victim, the bully and a witness.
Created for elementary students, I Was Just Kidding tells the story of Debbie and her two friends and how words can wound even if you are “just kidding.”
JET Youth Education Services (Y.E.S.)
Established in 1996, JET Y.E.S. is an educational outreach initiative that highlights solutions to problems facing school-age children. Sponsored by the Dorfman Family Foundation, JET Y.E.S. introduces high-quality professional theatre to new generations of children and is a tool for schools to address issues of teasing, bullying, and the price of popularity. By seeing the characters on stage act out the conflicts they commonly encounter, students can recognize and discuss those issues and behaviors with greater insight.
