Executive Director

Christopher Bremer

In 1993, Bremer became Production Manager for ECA/Mr. Wizard shows where he would produce, direct, and in some cases perform over 4,000 shows annually in elementary and middle schools. In 1999 he became Managing Director of JET Theatre. In 2005 Bremer was selected as one of the five best directors in metropolitan Detroit by the Detroit Free Press. He has been nominated for best director by the Detroit Free Press, the Oakland Press, and Between the Lines.  

Development Director

Linda Ramsay-Detherage

Linda has been associated with JET since 2008 when she appeared as an actor in Chapter Two. Her volunteer efforts have been extensive in the theatre community. She formed ACT Detroit-a marketing cooperative between local theatres to find creative alternatives to marketing strategies by forming artistic coalitions. She is also a freelance writer, grant specialist, and an award winning actress and playwright. Linda is a member of the Dramatist Guild and AEA. 

Literary Manager

Steven A. Showfer

Steven A. Showfer (Executive Member at Large) retired in 2010 from Wayne County Government after 20 years. In 2001, Showfer came to see JET’s Romeo and Juliet and never left. He began as a volunteer for the theatre's Festival of New Plays and behind the scenes of several productions. He was eventually asked to join the Board of Directors. His current roles include Treasurer, managing the literary desk, and Chief Positivity Officer.

Marketing & Outreach Intern

Madison Merkel

Madison (she/her/hers) graduated from Samford University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Professional productions include First Folio's Henry V and Virgina Samford's Cabaret. Notable college roles include Every Brilliant Thing (Narrator), Sylvia (Sylvia), and The Caucasian Chalk Circle (Grusha). Since working at JET, Madison has enjoyed coordinating outreach events, working on JET's website, and understudying A Conversation with Anne Frank.

Daniel Skinner

Daniel Skinner (he/him/his) is originally from Laramie, Wyoming. He received his BFA in Acting from Elon University in North Carolina.  Favorite past roles include: Hamlet (Hamlet), Valentine Coverly (Arcadia), Jack Stuart (Horn in the West), and Fin (Moment). Love to his parents, siblings, and dogs.
